Project overview.

Shots from San Siro Stadium NFT is a personal project that reconnects with one of my earliest digital experiments.

In the first half of the 2000s, while I lived in Milan, I started to document San Siro stadium from a different point of view.

Instead of the match itself, I focused on the experience around it: the stands, the supporters, the choreography, the ramps, the stairs, the architecture and the emotional tension of match days.

Activities

I created a dedicated website for the original project, with match pages, photo galleries and short videos. The purpose was to share the atmosphere of San Siro with people who could not experience it in person: the sound, the energy, the expectation, the joy, the frustration and the collective feeling of one of the most iconic stadiums in world football.

I also created a dedicated YouTube channel, connected to the website, where I published the short videos used in the match pages. This anticipated a type of stadium storytelling that later became familiar across clubs, media channels and football creators.

Years later, during the first wave of interest around NFTs, I wanted to explore that format through a personal project. I decided to revisit the San Siro archive and create a small digital collection, turning animated works inspired by the original project into collectible NFT pieces.

Each animated piece started from one of my original stadium photos, then evolved through image editing, motion design, timing refinement and export optimization before becoming part of the NFT collection.

The work was created before current AI-assisted workflows, so the visual construction and animation process required direct manual control.

Results

The original website reached visitors from different countries, confirming the value of a project created to share the San Siro match-day atmosphere beyond the stadium itself.

The project carries a stronger meaning today. San Siro remains one of the most iconic stadiums in the world, but its future has become uncertain.

This NFT collection works as a small visual tribute to a place that has shaped memories, rituals and emotions for generations of football supporters.
