Project overview.
Giulio Canepa is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across drawing, painting, tattoo and digital collectibles.
The project focused on creating a personal artist website able to present different bodies of work through a clean, direct and image-led structure.
The website had to give space to the artworks, keep navigation simple and support a visual identity consistent with Giulio’s black and white aesthetic, surreal imagery and tattoo background.
The collaboration also included the creation of an animated NFT artwork for one of his digital collectible projects on Crypto.com.
Activities
I designed and implemented the artist website in WordPress, creating a responsive portfolio structure for drawings, paintings, tattoo works, NFT pieces and biographical content.
The interface was designed to keep the visual work at the center, with minimal navigation, large image areas and a layout suitable for both desktop and mobile viewing.
I also worked on the animated NFT piece, transforming one of Giulio’s visual subjects into a short digital animation for his Crypto.com collection.
The work required image preparation, motion design, timing refinement and final export optimization.
Results
The website gave Giulio Canepa a dedicated digital space to present his artistic production across different disciplines, from traditional artworks to tattoo projects and NFTs.
The project created a coherent online archive for his work, with a clear structure and a visual approach aligned with his artistic language.
The NFT animation extended the collaboration into digital collectibles, adding a motion-based piece to a project rooted in illustration, tattoo culture and personal visual research.
